Entertainment – Science – Inspiration (video blog)

Hi All,

So another year coming to an end. While we have fun with the Christmas holidays and gear up to have a good party over the weekend, its time to recall the year passed by. The experiences gained, things lost,  lessons learnt. That time of the year to drop all negative experiences behind and go for a  Renewal of the long lost child in us. Happy creating memories in 2017!happy-people-1920x1080Pc: Google images.

Advertisement traps

With the advertisements designed to Percolate through the society to reach the target audience, there is both good news and bad news for the average customer

Advertisers use various techniques to make it appealing :advertisement-appeals-27-638

While the good news is that one gets to know about things outside ones circles. Helps in making a better choice.

Downside being many consumers end up buying things they would probably never need.

Bottom line: Be aware of the well knitted advertisements, some drafted to even bypass ones common sense. Saves lots of resources, which can be used elsewhere.

Good day!

Waiting for a revolution

when the days would be brighter

people happier

rulers work for a  better world, the entire world,

for peace, happiness, equality,

to fight hunger, anger, pride,

together as one…

we need a revolution

a few perverts, hungry for money and power

shall time and again rule, till the end…

Revolution must go on too, till the end…

Good day folks..

Hang on…

Sometimes, even after the best planning, execution, things just don’t turn out the way we expected it to.

The Process long….

results not guaranteed…

Trust is perhaps the only thing

trust in the process and hope that everything falls into place..

Very often we miss out on the nuances of the process, (the reason why things don’t turn out the way we want it to) and totally quit.. but..

And until things unfold…trust in something..

Hang on..

a little longer…

Replace Darkness with Light

Darkness literally means absence of light. Call it ignorance, depression, emptiness, hopelessness etc etc, basically it is absence of the its opposite, light.

The beauty of darkness is that, like we cannot appreciate happiness without having gone through sadness, we cannot appreciate light without having experienced darkness.

While cleaning my table today i found this quote on a old paper which can be used here..

Darwin Correspondence Project of University of Cambridge however refutes Darwin ever having said that. Anyways, the meaning behind  the quote is more important.

Moral: Replace Darkness with light, sadness with happiness, bad with good. Adapt.

While the process happens, Enjoy it anyway.. This too shall not last forever!

Awarding thyself

Thanks to  Rakhi for giving me this award. Though i know this award is meant for Internet circulation only and in the real world it has limited value, still it feels great to be getting something and sharing it out here. Thanks Rakhi, you did make my day. Nothing wrong in imagining getting some award and may be work hard and get one in the respective  fields that we all work in, right?

People she’s a lovely budding poet…do check her blog Rakhioverhere

My blogging journey started in 2006, trying to experiment. Other priorities kept me busy while i used to peep into the blogging world once in a while. It’s been nice being here whenever time permits and have got some good friends across the world.

A small piece of advice for fellow bloggers. I’m a true Indian you see, giving free advices is our birth right. Quite often than not, we rush though life, and react to all its mysterious callings, and somewhere down the lane realize it was actually the past journey which was supposed to be enjoyed and not the present destination. Fortunately, none of the destinations are final, one has to go on conquering. Enjoy conquering!

To keep this award going, i would like to award the following sweet people:

To accept your award you must

  1. write a post to show your award
  2. Acknowledge the blogger that nominated you
  3. Give a brief story of why you started blogging
  4. Give advice to your fellow bloggers
  5. Nominate few bloggers for the award
  6. Leave a comment to let the nominated bloggers about the award.

♥ Happy Blogging!!!

Follow your heart passionately

Sounds familiar ??

Almost all responsible young adults  land up with this question. If there is a Purpose to life, then what’s my purpose. While seeking answers a few end up assuming purposes of dangerous people as their own. Terrorists and anti social elements are known to use such weak links in the society. purpose-of-life-quote-003

While the main purpose remains to help oneself and others around. The basic purpose is to be happy without harming anyone.

In case you still haven’t found one. Here’s a shortcut.

Finding ones passion involves finding what makes that person happy. Each one of us have that something which gives us a kick, something which we can do day and night without getting tired or complaining. This passion used fruitfully helps the one doing it and others around.

Have a purposeful happy life…

Use Anger…

Anger is an heightened energy state just like most other emotions.

So it can potentially be used for constructive purpose too.

Haven’t you noticed Angry young hero’s of bollywood making it big.

Even in your own life, you would have noticed if someone challenged or angered us into something we somehow learn better to prove them wrong. In the process we make progress.  Anger Motivates…

In a relationship, anger helps to let the other person know that their act is not welcome and repeating it shall lead to unpleasant consequences. Anger helps relationships.. Its however another thing to remain in control when angry too.

Angry workers asking for something get it faster than someone who asks in a sober, calm way. Anger gets you things..

Soon after being angry a person sees into himself if he’s right. Anger helps introspection

Having said that, some amount of anger propels a person further while higher amounts can burn the person himself. Never value anger against someone to the extent of holding a grudge. Forgive them to free yourself, and remember the lesson.f2ee39c468b8176eb5f0446dec3d15bd

You and I, in a circus

In the circus called life….

As Shakespeare puts it, There are Seven stages of maninfant, schoolboy, lover, soldier, justice, Pantalone and old age,

All the world’s a stage,
And all the men and women merely players;
They have their exits and their entrances,
And one man in his time plays many parts,
His acts being seven ages. At first the infant,
Mewling and puking in the nurse’s arms.
Then, the whining school-boy with his satchel
And shining morning face, creeping like snail
Unwillingly to school. And then the lover,
Sighing like furnace, with a woeful ballad
Made to his mistress’ eyebrow. Then, a soldier,
Full of strange oaths, and bearded like the pard,
Jealous in honour, sudden, and quick in quarrel,
Seeking the bubble reputation
Even in the cannon’s mouth. And then, the justice,
In fair round belly, with a good capon lined,
With eyes severe, and beard of formal cut,
Full of wise saws, and modern instances,
And so he plays his part. The sixth age shifts
Into the lean and slippered pantaloon,
With spectacles on nose and pouch on side,
His youthful hose, well saved, a world too wide
For his shrunk shank, and his big manly voice,
Turning again toward childish treble, pipes
And whistles in his sound. Last scene of all,
That ends this strange eventful history,
Is second childishness and mere oblivion,
Sans teeth, sans eyes, sans taste, sans everything.

William Shakespeare‘s As You Like It, spoken by the melancholy Jaques in Act II Scene VII.

Also Circus reminds me of Mr.Raj Kapoor in the 1970’s  hindi classic movie Mera Naam Joker (1970).  In the movie, he plays the role of a joker going through three phases of life: childhood, youth, and old name. In each phase he falls for  different women, through the movie and ultimately remains single.  Couple of songs from the movie … (sorry no english subtitles)

This one has captured the way circus was back in India back in the 90’s after which most acts were banned following human rights & animal rights activists campaigns.

You might wish to show it to your kids.

So in the end, we all are performers on the live stage. And its Show Time now!!

Go out and shine in your worlds…

Think Orderly and Win

37d5f701a2edd3db3a2ad08fa05a8ee1For all of us learning by experimenting, by now, we have realised one thing. We learn things haphazardly in the beginning and find it though. Complex.

And then, with time and better understanding, we consolidate in a Orderly fashion,  and the task/work easy to perform. Remember the new things you learnt in previous grade/new job. It was once tough, and now after time and orderly organising, it becomes easy.

Coming to think of it, it all happens in the mind. Think orderly, perform  accordingly, life somehow falls into place. This itself is a small win. Many small wins together is a big WIN.
